ETWINNING PROJECT 

“PROMOTING THE 2024 PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES” 



 IES Almenara has participated during the 23-24 school year in the eTwinning project “Promoting the 2024 Paris Olympic Games”.It has followed a year of collaboration between teachers and students from 5 European countries (Spain, Portugal, Romania, Germany and France). 16 students from 3rd ESO and 4th PDC from our center participated in the project.With the celebration of the games in 2024, we want to investigate a little more about the Olympic Games: the origin, the symbols, the values ​​that are shared, also with sharing and learning about the participants from each partner country of the project in different categories. In addition to increasing the knowledge about the Olympic Games, the project has also developed and improved the digital competences, the European dimension and the communicative competence in English. It has followed a first immersion in the world of eTwinning, which we will surely repeat again, since both these projects develop transversal skills such as digital and communicative competence, the curiosity of students is stimulated and international cooperation and intercultural connection are promoted.
